Announcing Our New Name

Out with Plastics, In with Renewables!

We are happy to announce that we have officially changed our company name from NantBioPlastics to NantBioRenewables.

While our products are officially listed as a “bioplastic,” we do not feel that is a true representation of our mission and who we are. As we continue to grow our brand and message of a truly environmental product, we feel that the new name will better reflect the evolving focus and standards of our company.

Our goal is to not only provide an exceptional product, but to also be respectful to the planet we live on. We strive to “give back” to the environment by developing products that provide both positive beginning-of-life (renewable/climate positive) and end-of-life (nutrients to soil) properties. We believe the beginning-of-life for our raw materials is just as important as having a positive end-of-life solution.

At the heart of our products is a renewable calcium sand that naturally and continuously forms in the ocean. By using renewable, sustainable, and climate-positive raw materials that provide added benefits upon composting, we ensure that our products come full circle.

Our new company name, NantBioRenewables LLC, highlights the bio-circularity of our product lines, and we hope to continue to build our presence and continue changing the way foodservice products are viewed and used. We look forward to the positive growth of our brand and are excited to take this step forward with you toward a more sustainable future.
